The Need To Recover

Red Day Reset Plan

Activate this the moment you feel the pull to make it back.

“Recovery mode is where discipline goes to die.”

The pattern

The need to recover happens when you are no longer trading the next clean setup. You are trading the gap between where you are and where you wish you were. You try to fix the day instead of protect the trader.

When to use

When you are red, frustrated, or feeling the pull to make it back fast.

The tool

Interrupt the chase. Protect the trader.

Two parts. Do the first before you trade; the last at the end of your trading session.

01Interrupt Recovery Mode.

I do not need to recover today. I need to return to clean execution.

02Lower the Emotional Temperature.

03Choose a Reset Option.

A Stop trading for the day.
B Reduce size by at least 50%.
C One more A+ setup only, if fully regulated and within daily loss limits.
End of your trading session

The rest is for after you've traded. Your answers save to this device, so come back to this page at the end of your trading session and finish here.

04Rebuild Self-Trust.

The anchor

Closing the day down is a form of discipline.

Staying intact is the trade that matters most.
